The subfamily Harpalinae is an abundantly enourmous family of ground beetles, The beetles from this subfamily have highly-specified body


parts that help in adaptations to the atmospheric and climatic change in their habitat.

Morphology[]

Adult beetles have specialized, razor-sharp mandibles used for digging borrows beneath our feet, They may look like Anobiids by their apperanace however, unlike Anobiids, Harp beetles tunnel underground where they spend their lives as a larva, The adults have a wide array of foods that are a part of their diet feeding on caterpillars, Smaller beetles and other soft-bodied insects.
