Cerambyx scopolii

The beetle, Cerambyx scopolii, is a species of longhorn beetle native to Europe.

Like all Cerambyx, they have long antennae and have a black body. However, Scopolii has a more rectangular shape. The mandibles are very easy to see.

This longhorn's larvae bore into wood of oak, willow, and chestnut, and in a large density; C. scopolii can kill a tree. They can be found all over Europe.
